1.
Why is it asking if
I want to install and run the MyDealShopper Toolbar?
Your
security settings are set so that you are prompted before any programs are
installed on your machine. The dialog box you see is asking you to confirm that
you do want to install the MyDealShopper Toolbar. Click "yes" to
proceed.
2.
Where is it? I
installed the MyDealShopper Toolbar, but I don't see it.
If you do
not see the MyDealShopper Toolbar, go to View > Toolbars and
click on the MyDealShopper option.
Be advised
that some earlier versions of IE 5.0 have a known problem with displaying
toolbars. The MyDealShopper Toolbar may be listed under the name
"Radio" (usually the second such listing if there are two). This may
also keep the MyDealShopper Toolbar from initially appearing when it's first
installed. Go to View > Toolbars and click on the second
"radio" option.
3.
I installed it. Now
my browser randomly crashes. What's up with that?
Do you
have other third-party browser plug-ins installed on your system? Some of these plug-ins don't work so well with the MyDealShopper
Toolbar. If you want to continue using the MyDealShopper Toolbar, we recommend
you uninstall other browser plug-in software and see if that corrects the
problem.
4.
How do I uninstall
the MyDealShopper Toolbar?
Uninstalling
the MyDealShopper Toolbar is just as quick and easy as the installation. You
can uninstall the toolbar by using the Add/Remove Programs utility in
the Windows Control Panel:
·
Click the Windows
start button and select Settings.
·
Open the Control
Panel folder and double-click the Add/Remove Programs entry.
·
Scroll through the
list of programs and highlight "MyDealShopper Toolbar".
·
Click the Add/Remove button.
The MyDealShopper Toolbar automatically updates itself when a new version is available. If you learn that there's a new version out and you've just got to have it, you can reinstall the toolbar to make sure you're driving the latest model. (You may wish to uninstall first, though this should not be necessary.)
The
MyDealShopper Toolbar automatically shows: deals, free after rebate, coupons,
discounts, free shipping offers, “buy x get y free” offered by the site you are
visiting. For sites that do not use coupons etc we provide the hottest deals
from our other partners.
You can also browse all available
coupons by clicking the MyDealShopper button on the left of the toolbar or view
the hottest deals by clicking the “$ Deals” button.
2.
How do I move my
MyDealShopper Toolbar to a different place?
You can
change the location of the MyDealShopper Toolbar within your browser by
clicking and dragging the vertical separator bar to the left of the
MyDealShopper logo. Simply place your MyDealShopper Toolbar in the desired
location. This enables you to place two toolbars on the same line if you want
to conserve space in your browser.
Please note that, as with all of the IE browser toolbars, you can only move the
MyDealShopper Toolbar to locations at the top of your browser window; toolbars
cannot be placed on the side or bottom of the browser window.
If you are
using Internet Explorer 6.0, please make sure your toolbars are unlocked. To
check this setting, go to View->Toolbars and uncheck the option Lock
the Toolbars.
3.
I've lost some
buttons. Where did they go?
If you're
displaying two or more toolbars on one line some of the items may runoff the
end of the browser. Click on the arrows on the right hand side of the
MyDealShopper Toolbar to see the items that have been pushed off the page.
4.
How do I hide the
MyDealShopper Toolbar? How do I make it reappear?
You can
toggle the MyDealShopper Toolbar on and off using the View > Toolbars option on your browser's menu
line. Click on the option MyDealShopper to make the Toolbar display or
disappear.
Be aware that some earlier
versions of IE 5.0 have a known problem with their support for toolbars. The
MyDealShopper Toolbar may be listed under the name 'Radio' (usually the second
such listing if there are two).

How do I clear my
search history on the Toolbar?

Explorer browser:
·
Click the browser's Tools
menu.
·
Select Internet
Options... (the last entry in the list).
